Rick held a special place in my heart. He was easy to love and fun. I admired his perseverance in the face of adversity. Where others may have been overwhelmed, he not only endured but was a pleasure to be around. He was aided in his life pursuits by the support and love of his family. His bond with his son, Zachary, was special, and I am glad he was able to shower a year's worth of love on his grandson, Colton. Rick, my cousin, will be missed and not forgotten.
