FUNERAL SERVICE: 4:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: to follow in the Thompson Creek Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 3:00 - 4:00 P.M., Thursday prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Sellers was born February 4, 1923 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Adolphus "Doll" and Guinnie Moore Sellers. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Sellers was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church, and the SC Federation for the Blind. He loved music and enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid wood craftsman. In addition to his parents, Algie was preceded in death by his wife Ethel Sellers, a grandson, Bobby Sellers, his brother, Jerome Sellers, and by his 2 sisters, Jeanette Harvey, and Mattie Lee Wise.

2 Sons: Ronald (Faye) Sellers, and Larry (Cynthia) Sellers of Chesterfield, SC
3 Grandchildren: Beth (David) Brock, Michael (Wendy) Sellers, and Jennifer Sellers all of Chesterfield, SC
2 Great Grandchildren: Lianna and Marah Brock
