INTERMENT: will follow in the Hickory Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Wallace, SC

VISITATION: is 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Jones was born January 27, 1919 in Wallace, SC a daughter of the late Walker and Cora Quick. She was a graduate of Kollock School and was a retired store clerk, having worked with Cheraw Hardware, J & K, and McBride's Park and Shop. Alice enjoyed gospel and country music. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husbands, Kermit Cheves and Mike Jones; a great, great granddaughter, Alaina Quick; her brothers, Clyde and Henry Quick; her sister, Katie Quick; and by a son-in-law, Lee Hewitt, Jr.

8 Great Grandchildren: Brooklyn (Jonathan) Quick of Wallace, SC, Kyle and Brianna Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Braden Connor Patterson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Josh and Michaela Hewitt of Cheraw, SC, and Darien and Rayanna Hewitt of Wallace, SC
