HISTORY: Mrs. Welborn was born April 26, 1935 in Chesterfield County a daughter of the late Charlie Blease and Tecola Catherine Holley Rivers. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and a retired employee of Weller with 23 years of service. Alice was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Alice enjoyed cooking, growing pretty flowers, and riding the lawnmower. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Sanford Parker and Gene Welborn; and by a brother Ralph Rivers.

1 Daughter: Sandra A. (Donnie) Edwards of Newberry, SC
1 Brother: Stewart Rivers of Greenville, SC
