DECEASED: Mrs. Allie J. Oliver, age 94, died Saturday, November 29, 2008 at her home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Fairview Baptist Church, with Private Graveside to follow

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Monday, December 1, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Oliver was born June 17, 1914 in Chesterfield County, SC a daughter of the late Tom Joplin and Annie Norton Joplin Steen. She was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church with over 33 years of perfect attendance. Mrs. Oliver was married to the late Walter Oliver and was also preceded in death by her Daughter, Verdie Lear, Step-Daughter, Frances Willmon, Step-Father, Jim Steen; 4 Brothers, Will, Rufus, Coyt, and Russell Joplin; 1 Step-Brother, L.T. Steen; 1 Sister, Etta Pittman: and 1 Step-Grandson, Mickey Watson.

SURVIVORS:
1 Step-Daughter: Mary Watson of Cheraw, SC
2 Grandsons: Tommy (Connie) Oliver of Patrick, SC and Alton (Shirley) Oliver of Chesterfield, SC
2 Granddaughters: Darlene (Tommy) Stogner, and Louise (Wayne) Sims, both of Mt. Croghan, SC
2 Sisters-in-Law: Evelyn Joplin Davis and Evelyn Steen both of Kannapolis, NC
Also: 10 Great Grandchildren, and 11 Great Great Grandchildren
