Anna Jane Caulder King

          Mrs. Anna Jane Caulder King, age 88, entered into rest on Sunday, November 19, 2023. A private family graveside service will be held at Brock’s Mill Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Pastor Donald Wallace, Sr.

          Mrs. King was born March 4, 1935 in Jefferson, SC a daughter of the late Daniel C. and Bessie Mae Boatwright Caulder. She was a retired employee of Wal-Mart with over 26 years of experience where she worked in the garden center and enjoyed meeting people. Mrs. King was a member of Brock’s Mill Baptist Church. A Christian mother and dedicated homemaker, Mrs. King was a true role model and was always there for her children during their formative years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and searching for deals at yard sales.

          In addition to her parents, Mrs. King was also preceded in death by husband, Grady G. King; and daughter, Jami King Johnson. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family having been predeceased by her siblings, Hubert Caulder, W.M. Caulder, Aletha Caulder White, Margaret Caulder Hunt, and an infant sister, Frances Caulder.

          Survivors include her children, Daniel B. (Cynthia S.) King of Laurel Hill, NC, and Bryan K. (Becky L.) King of Simpsonville, SC; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

          The family would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of PruittHealth Hospice of Greenville for their exceptional love and care shown to Mrs. King and her family.
