HISTORY: Mrs. Bruner was born February 18, 1916 in Cheraw, SC a daughter of the late Willie and Hattie McBride Turnage. She was a graduate of Cheraw High School and a retired department store clerk. Mrs. Bruner was the oldest member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Arie was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Bruner, her son, John Thomas Bruner, Jr., and by two brothers and four sisters.

2 Daughters: Betty (George) Copeland of Clinton, SC, and Billie (Hugh) Branton of Woodstock, GA
2 Grandchildren: Ellen (Lee) Templeton of Clinton, SC, and Tracey Wood of Waynesville, NC
3 Great Grandchildren: Grant Thomas Templeton, Kierstin and Kayla Wood
Sister-in-law: Alieth Bruner of Cheraw, SC
