FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Sandy Plains United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: will be 1:00 — 2:00PM prior to the service at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mrs. Benefiel was born May 2, 1926 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Peter Claude and Allie Elizabeth Adams Rayfield. She was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and Columbia Commercial College. Mrs. Benefiel was a retired textile employee. In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her husband James Grant Benefiel; a son-in-law, Jerry G. Privette; and by four brothers, Mack Rayfield, Claude Basil Rayfield, Caston "Shorty" Rayfield, and Howard C. "Bill" Rayfield.

2 Grandsons: Daniel and Joseph Privette of Chesterfield, SC
1 Brother: Lloyd "Bud" Rayfield of Phoenix, AZ
3 Sisters: Louise Davis and Sarah Outen of Pageland, SC, and Olivia Davis of Greer, SC
