Mrs. Barbara Morton Crocker, age 71, entered into rest on Monday, April 16, 2018. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, April 19, 2018 at East Bethel Baptist Church, 398 Honeycutt Drive, Concord, NC by Rev. Earl Hewitt with burial to follow in the West Concord Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Crocker was born January 18, 1947 in Concord, NC a daughter of the late Wilton Neal and Myrtle Lee Shoe Morton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed attending Bethesda United Methodist Church. Her hobbies included working in her yard, riding horses, and in her younger years enjoyed riding in rodeos and parades. She had a special place in her heart for animals, especially her loving dogs, “Boo-Boo” and “Missy”.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was also preceded in death by 3 brothers, Herman, Ray, and Bobby Morton; and brother-in-law, Rev. Winfred Kimball.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Johnny D. Crocker of the home; 2 sons; John D. (Lori) Crocker Jr. of Patrick, SC, Paul E. Crocker of the home; grandchildren; Briana and Andrea Crocker and Addam and Madelaine Crocker; 8 great grandchildren; brothers; Arnold (Linda) Morton, Doyt (Carolyn) Morton both of Concord, NC; sister; Doris Kimball of Concord, NC; sister-in-law; Haiwatha Thompson of Rockingham, NC;  numerous nieces and nephews.
