Barbara Anne Jones, 40, of Chesterfield, SC joined her Friend and Savior Jesus on May 25, 2016 after battling colon cancer.
A casual celebration of life will be held 4:00 PM on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends and family are invited to a reception in the church fellowship hall following the burial.
Barbara was born November 28, 1975 in Anderson, SC. She was a lover of Jesus, family, nature and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur William Thomas, Sr. and Barbara Dee Kelly; and a sister, Elizabeth Dee Askea.
Surviors include: Husband, Mark Jones of NC; her 2 wonderful sons, Justin Allen Jones and Adam Tyler Jones, both of the home; four brothers, Edward Wayne Lovelady of Ohio, Arthur William Thomas, Jr., Jonathan David Kelly and wife Lisa of Concord, NC, and Timothy James Kelly and wife Alisha of Marshville, NC; 3 sisters, Constance Diane Pudelski and husband Steven of Georgia, Ethel Annette Holloway, and Juanita Susan Gregory of Arizona; and many nieces and nephews; and her best friend, Nancy Marie Marsh of Chesterfield, SC
Barbara was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, SC where the other members took her in as one of their own.
Barbara’s family would like to express their sincere thanks to all who helped support Barbara and her boys during her illness.
