HISTORY: Mrs. Frye was born August 3, 1918, in Chesterfield, SC, a daughter of the late Laura Previtte Sellers and Willie Eli Sellers. She received her BA degree from Coker College. Bernice was a retired school teacher with forty years of service. She taught in Hardeeville, SC and Baltimore, MD, in addition to the Zoar and Chesterfield Schools. Mrs. Frye was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church. She was a Sunday School Teacher and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Organization. Bernice enjoyed reading and gardening. She resided at Cheraw Health Care for the last two years. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husbands, Charlie M. Frye and Burnise Johnson; her grandson, Justin Kyle Wallace; her brothers, Fincher and Robert Sellers: her sister-in-law, Daisy Byrte Sellers; and one she considered her daughter, Patricia Jacobs.

2 Daughters: Marcia (Ricky) Wallace of Chesterfield, SC and Nan (Steve) Rex of Holden Beach, NC
1 Brother: Bill (Helen) Sellars of Columbia, SC
2 Sisters: Leila Hartman of Byran, IL, and Cuby Rae of Chicago, IL.
4 Grandchildren: Angie (Rick) Hays of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Lance (Hope) Wallace of Chesterfield, SC, Kadee (Jason) Herring of Chesterfield, SC and Gavin Rex of Durham, NC
6 Great Grandchildren: Caragan Xu Chen Wallace, Logan Wallace, Maddie Bateman, Christian Wallace, KateLin Wallace, and Wallace Tod Herring.
