DECEASED: Miss Berniece K. "Bea" King, age 97, died Sunday, March 9, 2008

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2008 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

VISITATION: Immediately following the service in the chapel

HISTORY: Miss King was born August 17, 1910 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Henry Frank and Mary Etta "Mollie" Knight King. She was a graduate of Roper Hospital School of Nursing in Charleston, SC, and received her certification in Public Health Nursing from Georgia Peabody College. She also completed additional courses at the University of North Carolina and at Furman University. Bea retired in 1974 from Greenville County Health Department as coordinating nurse in Home Health Services after 24 years of service. She was preceded in death by a brother, Foster King, 2 sisters, Lela K. Carr and Vivian K. Adams, and by a dear friend Peggy Davis.
