Betty Ann Morris

Chesterfield, SC

          Ms. Betty Ann Morris, age 73, entered into rest on Saturday, February 4, 2023. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, February 8, 2023 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Wednesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Ms. Morris was born November 15, 1949 in Wallace, SC a daughter of the late James and Rosa Lee Hubbard Shaw. She was a retired employee of Takata Industries and a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, Wallace, SC. Ann enjoyed working outdoors, cooking, but most of all being “NaNa” to her grandchildren.

          In addition to her parents, Ms. Morris was also preceded in death by her son-in-law, Michael White.

          Survivors include her son, Gary Wayne Hinson of Columbia, SC; daughter, Tonya Lynn White of Chesterfield, SC; grandchildren, Alex White, and Hunter White both of Chesterfield, SC; sisters, Barbara Ammons of Surfside Beach, SC, Nancy Knight of Cheraw, SC, and Wanda McCune of Wallace, SC; special friend, Tee Morris of Chesterfield, SC; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.

          Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
