Betty Brewer

Mrs. Betty Burgess Brewer, age 86, entered into rest on Saturday, June 10, 2017. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Monday, June 12, 2017, from the chapel of the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor, with burial to follow in the Mount Croghan Memorial Park. The family will greet friends from 2:00-3:00 PM Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Brewer was born April 1, 1931 in Mount Croghan, SC, a daughter of the late Harley Gay Burgess and Maude Elizabeth Rollins Burgess. Betty was formerly employed with Chesterfield Yarn Mill and SC Electric. Mrs. Brewer was a member of Salem Presbyterian Church. Betty enjoyed cooking and especially enjoyed time spent with her family.

In addition to her parents, Betty was also preceded in death by her husband, Odis Brewer, as well as her siblings.

Survivors include a son; Donny (Gloria) Brewer of Bishopville, SC, daughter; Pat (Bill) Snellings of Atlanta, GA, 3 grandchildren; Al Brewer, Leigh Snellings Hasty, and Tyler Snellings, 5 great grandchildren; Dylan Brewer, William Snellings, Avery Snellings, Bennett Hasty, Addison Hasty; also nieces and nephews.
