FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at Antioch United Methodist Church, Bennettsville, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Bessie Brigman Family Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 8:00PM Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, 318 E. Main Street, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mrs. Brigman was born August 19, 1936 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of the late Perry and Eliza Boan Purvis. She was a member of Antioch United Methodist Church, where she was a member of the church choir, and the U.M.W. club. She was a retired employee of Marley Electric with over 25 years of service. Following her retirement, Betty Rae enjoyed working at Wal Mart as a greeter. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, sewing, working word search puzzles, and most rewarding, spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Betty Rae was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Williams, and John W. Brigman; 3 brothers, Francis, Bill, and Johnny Purvis; and by 1 sister, Novella Crowley.

2 Sons: Danny Williams, and Donald (Pam) Williams both of Bennettsville, SC
4 Daughters: Margie (Jerry) Jordan of Chesterfield, SC, Pat Susie (Frankie) McCall of Bennettsville, SC, Rachel (Derek) Williams of N. Myrtle Beach, SC, and Lynn (Brad) Trull of Cheraw, SC
10 Grandchildren: Nelson Jordan, Billy Jordan, Bobby Jordan all of Chesterfield, SC, Misty (Leslie) Riggins of Surfside Beach, SC, Lauren Williams, Scott McCall, Eric McCall, Heather McCall, Coyt (Lindsay) Williams, and Marcella Williams (Ben) Stanton all of Bennettsville, SC
Also: 10 Great Grandchildren
Sister: Bonnie Wilks of Hartsville, SC and numerous Nieces and Nephews

The family of Mrs. Brigman would like to express their sincere thanks and appreciation to Becky Williams, Bunny Crumb, Mary Maccy, Michelle Leviner, and the staff of Embrace Hospice for the wonderful love and care they shown to Mrs. Betty Rae during her illness.
