FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 AM, Monday, July 6, 2009 at Chesterfield Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery

VISITATION: 4:00 - 6:00 PM Sunday, July 5, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Baker was born January 6, 1929 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Robert Earl and Lillie Nicholson Baker. He was a retired auto dealer and owner of Baker's Auto Sales, and was an avid Nascar fan. Mr. Baker was a former member of the South Carolina National Guard, having been one of the first members of the Chesterfield Unit. He was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, where he was head usher, member of the social committee, and former deacon. Mr. Baker was an honorary member of the Chesterfield Rescue Squad and was a member of Chesterfield American Legion Post 74. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Lou Burr Baker; a daughter, Beth Baker White; a brother, Henry Baker; and a sister Roberta Rhodes.

2 Great Grandchildren: Kieran and Dakota Leviner
Son-in-law: David H. White of Chesterfield, SC
Brother: James Baker of Bakersville, CA
