Billy Ray Williams

Jefferson, SC

          Mr. Billy Ray Williams, age 62, entered into rest on Sunday morning, March 19, 2023 at his home. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at Fork Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery by Pastor Matthew Tucker and Pastor Teddy Moore. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

          Mr. Williams was born September 16, 1960 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Carl F. Williams and Dorothy Helms Davis. He was a retired employee of Culp Weaving and a former employee of Johnson’s Insulation. Billy enjoyed traveling to the beach and mountains with his family and also enjoyed gardening and fishing. More than anything, he loved his wife and was proud to be called “Paw-Paw” by his grandchildren.

          In addition to his parents, Mr. Williams was also preceded in death by two sisters, Faye Nell Oliver, and Joyce Ann Tucker.

          Survivors include his wife, Norma Williams of the home; sons, Daniel Williams of the home, and Jackie (Lori) Williams of Mt. Croghan, SC; step-sons, Sandy Sheets of the home, and Randy (Stephanie) Sheets of Jefferson, SC; 10 grandchildren; brother, Bobby (Paula) Williams of Jefferson, SC; sister, Betty Collins of Marshville, NC; brother-in-law, Jeff Tucker of Jefferson, SC; sisters-in-law & brothers-in-law, Linda (Rickie) Rogers, and Jimmy Wallace both of Jefferson, SC, and Mark (Laura) Wallace of GA; numerous nieces and nephews including special niece, Becky Bragg of Chesterfield, SC; and his beloved pet, “Co-Co.”
