Billy O. "Bill" Mullis

Mr. Billy O. "Bill" Mullis, age 77, entered into rest on Friday, May 11, 2018 at his home. Funeral Services will be 4:00 PM Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Smyrna Baptist Church by Pastor Pete Gregory and Rev. Mack Mullis with burial to follow in Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Smyrna Baptist Church, 841 Smyrna Church Road, Pageland, SC and other times at the home.

Mr. Mullis was born October 28, 1940 in Union County, NC a son of the late Lige Oscar and Effie Belle Threatt Mullis. He was a retired employee of Graphic Packages with over 40 years of service. Bill was a member of Smyrna Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. A member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles. His hobbies included gardening, walking, attending the Friday mornings prayer breakfast, and spending time with his family camping.

In addition to his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his brothers, Floyd, Arthur, Ravon, Nathan, and Charles Mullis; sisters, Doris Laney, Geraldine Tadlock, and Geneva Dailey.

Survivors include his wife of 51 years, Judy Mullis of the home; 2 daughters, Angie Hargett, Kim (Ronald) Autry both of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Logan Autry, Kara (Nick) Ballard, Nicole (Travis) Tucker, Kendall (Zach Morton) Hargett, and Tommy Hargett; 6 great grandchildren; brother, Frank Mullis of Pageland, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.

Flowers are welcomed by the family but for those wishing to make memorial donations, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Chesterfield County, P.O. Box 293, Chesterfield, SC 29709.
