Bobbie Moore

Charlotte, NC

Mrs. Bobbie Jean Outlaw Moore, age 78, went to sleep in Jesus on November 26, 2016. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Monday, November 28, 2016 at White Oak Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Rev. Charles Terry. The family will greet friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM prior to the service in the White Oak Presbyterian Church Fellowship Hall.

Mrs. Moore was born January 1, 1938 in Ruby, SC a daughter of the late William Homer Outlaw and Sarah Oliver Eddins. In 1953 she moved to Charlotte and married George Flander “Coot” Moore. Upon his passing in 2008, they had been married for 54 years. Bobbie was a two time cancer survivor and, after a long battle, succumbed to kidney failure.

Small in stature, but with the biggest heart that you could find in a person, she lived her life with incredible dignity. She was a great “soul food” cook and fed many people throughout her years. Her six children were her world and she loved them unconditionally. Words cannot express the void that has been left at her passing. Bobbie was one of a kind and will truly be missed.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bobbie was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Michelle Terry.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Pat (Rev. Charles) Terry of Pageland, SC, Bill Moore and Bobby Moore both of Charlotte, NC, Phillip (Wanda) Moore of Newnan, GA, George (Sandra) Moore of Cramerton, NC, and Jeff (Julia) Moore of Lawrenceville, GA; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; sisters, Doris Thurman, Bonnie (Wylie) Gainey, Pat Rushing, and Sue Stogner all of Jefferson, SC, and Joyce (Arthur) Bryant of Sun City, FL; brother, Jim (Sue) Eddins of Jefferson, SC.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to White Oak Presbyterian Church, 5386 Angelus Road, Ruby, SC 29741

Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home of Chesterfield, SC (www.mrcfuneralhome.com) is serving the Moore Family.
