Mr. Bobby Dixon, age 75, died Saturday, July 2, 2016. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Children’s Baptist Church by the Rev. Robert Turner, Rev. Danny Chavis, and Rev. Nat Brown. The service of committal will follow in the Edward’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends anytime at the home.

Mr. Dixon was born October 26, 1940 in Patrick, SC a son of the late Dave and Rosealee Bradick Dixon. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Children’s Baptist Church. Mr. Dixon enjoyed fishing, racing, and watching wrestling. He loved his family and his great-grandchildren were the apple of his eye.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was also preceded in death by his wife, Valerie Lewis Dixon; 1 grandson, Bobby Derrick Dixon; and 2 brothers, Dave Dixon, Jr., and Ralph Dixon.

Surviving are his 2 sons, Bobby D. “Weaser” Dixon and wife Teresa of Patrick, SC, and David B. “Stymie” Dixon and wife Margaret of the home; 4 grandchildren, David R. Dixon and Theron S. Dixon both of the home, Dewayne P. Dixon, and Kimberly A. Hatfield and husband Samuel all of Patrick, SC; 2 great-grandchildren, Hanna Paige Hatfield and Abagail Louise Hatfield; 2 brothers, Hollis and Hart Dixon; 2 sisters, Polly McKenzie and Juanita Tyner and husband Bobby both of Patrick, SC; and his nieces and nephews.
