DECEASED: Mr. Boyce Henry Shaw, age 80, died Friday, May 29, 2009, at his home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A.M., Monday, June 1, 2009 at True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. Sunday, May 31, 2009 at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Shaw was born September 18, 1928 in Wallace, SC a son of the late James Calvin and Annie Lee Shankle Shaw. He was a retired employee of Burlington Industries with 28 years of service and a former member of the SC National Guard. Mr. Shaw was a member of the True Gospel Emmanuel Holiness Church. Boyce was also an avid fisherman and loved auctions and flea markets. In addition to his parents, Boyce was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Sarah Chavis Shaw; four brothers, Phil, James C., Lewis, and Robert Lee Shaw; and by two sisters, Arita Wilkes and Annie Belle English.

1 Brother: Mitchell "Pee Wee" (Saundra) Shaw of Wallace, SC
2 Sisters: Lillian Hayer of Kannapolis, NC, and Ethel Rainwater of Rockingham, NC
Also 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren
