FUNERAL SERVICE: 5:00 PM Thursday, May 15, 2014 at Lower Macedonia Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the Lower Macedonia Memorial Gardens

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Mrs. Starling was born in Bennettsville, SC a daughter of the late Marvin "Son" Haithcock, Jr. and Margaret Louise Freeman Haithcock. She was a former employee of Cheraw Yarn Mill with 30 years of service. Mrs. Starling was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. In addition to her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her husband, Franklin D. "Buck" Starling; 1 son, Franklin Delnore Starling, Jr.; 1 daughter, Sandra Lynne Atkinson.

2 Sons: Daniel "Buddy" (Audrey Hartley) Franklin Starling of Florence, SC, and Franklin Lee McMasters of Franklinville, NC
1 Daughter: Brenda Kaye (Timothy) Wallace of Cheraw, SC
4 Grandchildren: Noelle Starling, Noah Starling, Nathaniel Starling, and Timothy Hickey
1 Sister: Margie (Charles) Deaver of Wallace, SC
