Mrs. Brenda Raffaldt Moody, age 76, entered into rest on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, November 7, 2021 at Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery by Dr. Joel Dale. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Moody was born March 18, 1945 in Cabarrus County, NC a daughter of the late Lawson and Josie Beatrice Hancock Raffaldt. Brenda was a graduate of Pageland High School, and a licensed cosmetologist at Linda’s Hair Design. She will be fondly remembered as a sweet lady with a very funny personality. Brenda enjoyed keeping up with the weather channel and could always be found talking on the phone with her sister Judy.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was also preceded in death by her husband, Bill Moody; brother-in-law, Steve Love; nephew, Bradley Deese; and great-niece, Zan Malia Deese.

Survivors include her sister, Judy (Jerry) Rivers of Pageland, SC; nieces, Stephanie Deese of Pageland, SC, Shannon (Eddie) Patrick of Florence, SC, Samantha Catoe of Pageland, SC; great-nieces and nephews, Sydnee Dutton, McKenna Dutton, Brannon Deese, Zaida Deese, Nevaeh Catoe, Zander Catoe, and Alaina Porter; step-daughter, Reene Lewis-Wiegner of Wilmington, NC; uncle, Buddy Raffaldt of Spartanburg, SC; and aunt, Sadie (Jim) Catoe of Lancaster, SC.
