Brian Richard Diamond

Mr. Brian Richard Diamond, age 55, passed away on March 24, 2025, at his home in Bethune, South Carolina. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Beauford Baptist Church, located at 18182 SC-151, McBee, SC 29101. The service will be officiated by Pastor Tim Williams, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Friday at the church prior to the service.

Brian was born on February 4, 1970, in Niskayuna, New York, to Bonnie Roland Blyth and the late Richard Diamond. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps during Operation Desert Storm, achieving the rank of Corporal. Throughout his service, he received multiple honors including the National Defense Service Medal, the Southwest Asia Service Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal, the Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal, the Kuwait Liberation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.

Following his military service, Mr. Diamond worked as a manager at Bi-Lo, dedicating over 17 years to the company, and also held a position as a truck driver. In his free time, he had a passion for rattlesnake hunting and woodworking, particularly in crafting custom walking canes.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Annette Freeman; his children, Kylei (TJ) Reoun, Michael (Brittany) Diamond, Brittany Neal, Erica Freeman, and Dylan Freeman; and grandchildren, Gionni, Nathan, Brennen, Ravyn, Gabe, Tiegan with two more on the way. Brian is also survived by his mother, Bonnie Blyth, and siblings, Dick Diamond, Kim Klingbeil, Danny Blyth, and James Blyth.
