Bruce Archie Lett, 76, of High Point, passed away Thursday, at his home.
Born October 31, 1948, in Chesterfield, South Carolina, he was a son to the late Robert Lett and the late Myrtle Linton Dixon. Bruce was a retired truck driver in the trucking industry. He also was a nursing home evangelist who led lots of people to the Lord, including a love for churches and bus ministries. Bruce was a member of Gospel Way Baptist Church and served as a deacon. Being a truck driver he had friends all over the United States.
He is survived by a daughters, Toni Brown and Missy Williamson (David) of SC; brothers, Joel Lett (Deloris) of SC, Ken Dixon (Phyllis) of SC, and Terry Dixon (Deborah) of Concord; sisters, Betty Sue Freeman of SC and Penny Mangum (Donnie) of SC; grandchildren, Clara Williamson, Josh Williamson, Jay Stapleton, Joanna Stapleton, Jocelyn Neal, and Chase Gray; and twelve great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by stepson, Michael Gray, brothers, Bobby Lett, Donnie Dixon, Charlie Dixon, and sister, Clarice Dixon, and grandsons, Jerald B. Stapleton, Jr and David Williamson.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, March 2, 2025, at Gospelway Baptist Church, 1923 S. Elm Street, High Point with Pastor Danny McMahan officiating.
A graveside service in Patrick, SC will be announced in the coming days.
