Mr. Carl Leon Goodale, age 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2018. A Celebration of Life Service will be 2:00 PM Monday, March 26, 2018 at Patrick Baptist Church by Pastor Grover Johnson. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the church.

Mr. Goodale was born August 30, 1939 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late Elijah Goodale and Margaret “Maggie” Cranford Barthlow. He worked in the landscaping business and was a member of Patrick Baptist Church. Leon enjoyed gardening and sharing his harvest with his friends and neighbors. He also enjoyed fishing and watching tv.

In addition to his parents, Leon was also preceded in death by his wife, Louise Goodale.

Survivors include his brother, Robert (Linda) Goodale of MD.; sisters, Carrie Fatig of Hartsville, SC, Elaine Fenzel, and Rhona Mallory both of MD.; also numerous nieces and nephews.
