Carl Lyle Brown

Mr. Carl Lyle Brown, age 58, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 26, 2019. Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Forest Pine Church by Pastor Danny Malloy with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, March 1, 2019 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Brown was born May 4, 1960 in Hartsville, SC a son of Brooksie Daniels Brown Bowen and the late Ralph E. “Buster” Brown. He was a retired truck driver and collector of “valuables.” Lyle was a member of Forest Pine Church. He enjoyed attending auctions and going to flea markets always looking for a deal. Mr. Brown also enjoyed working in his yard and taking care of his animals.

In addition to his father, Lyle was also preceded in death by his step-father, Theodore H. Bowen; and 1 brother, Ralph E. Brown, Jr.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Winnie Crowley Brown; children,  Kristin Brown, Kimberly (Ben McRae) Brown both of Hartsville, SC, Greg(Chantal) Wallace and Billy Wallace both of Patrick, SC,; and Michelle (J.R.) Tolson of Patrick, SC; grandchildren, Patton McRae, Austin Wallace, Zack Griggs, and Dustin McIntyre; mother, Brooksie Bowen; sisters, Ann Brown (Jason) Crowley,and Susan Brown Futrell both of Hartsville, SC; also special friend, Larry Griggs of Hartsville, SC
