Carol Russell DeMiere

Mrs. Carol Russell DeMiere, age 72, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 7, 2019. The family requests for privacy during their time of loss.

Mrs. DeMiere was born August 20, 1946 in Evergreen Park, IL a daughter of the late Archie and Florence Massey Russell. She was employed with C.D. Peacock’s Jewelers in Chicago, IL and also in the dental field. Carol and her family moved to Chesterfield, SC in 1985, and opened Frank and Carol’s Finer Foods. She, along with her husband, was the owner and operator until their retirement in 2010. Their store was selected as a former Business of the Year by the Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. Carol and her husband helped many young people by giving them their first jobs.

In addition to her parents, Carol was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank Thomas DeMiere; daughter, Patti D. Perry; and beloved aunt, Grace Massey.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Ann DeMiere of Ruby, SC; grandchildren, Jake Thomas Brown and William Landon Perry; brother, James Russell of Ruby, SC; step-son, Christopher John Page; and special family friend, Dawna Rushing.
