DECEASED: Mrs. Carolyn Margaret Mewshaw answered God's call on October 4, 2007, joining her parents, Joseph and E. Marie Nieberlein, brother, Joseph, and granddaughter, Lauren Anne Patch.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 11:00 A M, Saturday October 6, 2007, at the Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, to honor this very special angel in Heaven.

INTERMENT: Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM Friday October 5, 2007 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home

HISTORY: Carolyn, in years past, lived in Pasadena, MD., but more recently in Chesterfield, SC. A devoted wife and mother, Carolyn made many friends and was a special part of the lives she touched. Her childhood love of Girl Scouts was passed to her girls, as she became a leader for many years. Her life encompassed many adventures. After high school graduation she entered the Civil Air Patrol and then began her career as a U.S. Postal Carrier. Carolyn loved many things in life, most importantly were family events, gatherings, and spending time together. Among other things, she enjoyed camping, swimming, boating, nature, square dancing, crafts, and sharing her experiences with others. But, most of all, her love for family is her greatest legacy.

SURVIVORS: Her faithful husband of 48 years, Harry Clifton Mewshaw of the home.

4 Daughters and their families: Donna and her husband Brian Muser of Hanover, PA., their four children Ronald, Barry, Corey, and Kaitlyn, and one grandchild, Damien James; Robin and her husband Philipp Patch of Fredericksburg, VA and their two daughters Allison and Hillary; Karen and her husband Gary Cress, Sr. of Crownsville, MD and their two children Erin and Gary Jr.; Jo Ann and her husband Shawn Dimaggio, Sr. of Westminister, MD and their five children Shawn Jr., Steven, Anthony, Rebekah, and Alex.
