Mrs. Carrie Lynn Thomas McManus, age 51, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at her home. A Celebration of Life service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home with her son, Austin Stroud officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. McManus was born November 12, 1970 in Ocala, FL a daughter of the late Richard Maurice Thomas, Sr. and Sarah Ellen Brown Thomas. She was a former employee of Robin Rolls In painting and was a caregiver to many families through the years. A lady who never met a stranger, Carrie will always be remembered for her outgoing personality, her love of kids, and her gift of “gab” that was always on point!

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McManus was also preceded in death by brothers, Dean Thomas, and Ed “Head” Thomas; and close friends, Missy Johnson, and Cindy Ratliff.

Survivors include her husband of 20 years, Wayne T. McManus of the home; son, Austin Stroud of Columbia, SC; step-children, Wayne Timothy McManus, Jr., Michael Brian McManus, and Karlee Marie McManus; sister, Veronica (Alfred) Flores of Crestview, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
