Carroll "Wayne" Perdue

Patrick, SC

     Mr. Carroll "Wayne" Perdue, age 67, of the Winery community of Patrick, entered into rest on Saturday, December 28, 2024. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 31, 2024 in the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Brent Taylor and Edward Phillips. The family will greet friends from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Tuesday prior to the service at the funeral home. 

     Mr. Perdue was born September 29, 1957 in Chesterfield County, SC. He was the son of Carroll and the late Betty Deese Perdue. Wayne enjoyed watching football and cheering for his Gamecocks and 49ers. He spent most of his time in the yard “piddling.” More than anything else Wayne loved spending time with his granddaughter, Alaina, who was his pride and joy. 

      Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Deese Perdue. 

     Survivors include his wife, Rebecca Perdue of the home; children, Duran Perdue of the home, Slone Perdue of Chesterfield, SC; granddaughter, Alaina Perdue-Haupert of Chesterfield, SC; father, Carroll Perdue of Patrick, SC; sister, Sherry (Edward) Phillips of Chesterfield, SC; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

     In accordance with Wayne's wishes, memorials may be made towards Alaina's college fund through MRC Funeral Home, 318 E. Main St. Chesterfield, SC 29709.
