DECEASED: Mr. Charles William Eddins, age 82, died Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at his home.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: will follow in the Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: is 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, May 23, 2014 at the funeral home

HISTORY: Mr. Eddins was born July 19, 1931 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Cull Little and Laura Freeman Eddins. He was a graduate of Chesterfield High School and a former employee of Dilmar Oil Company. Charles was a retired Foreman with the SC DOT. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. Charles was a lifelong member of Pine Grove Baptist Church, where he served as former Sunday school teacher, Choir member, and Chairman of the Building and Grounds Committee. In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his brothers, Will, C.B. and Edgar Eddins, and by his sisters, Ola Baker and Dollie Moore.

Wife of 30 years: Patsy King Eddins of the home
Daughter: Sherry Eddins (Todd) White of Snellville, GA
Step Son: Robbie Davis of Chesterfield, SC
3 Grandchildren: Taylor White, Kailey White, and Rob Davis
Great Grandchild: Rory White
3 Sisters: Evelyn (David) Campbell of Rural Hall, NC, Louise Herndon of Piedmont, SC, and Dot (Gerald) Pender of Chesterfield, SC
