FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Providence Baptist Church

INTERMENT: will follow in the church cemetery

VISITATION: 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home, Chesterfield, SC

HISTORY: Mr. Kearns was born February 7, 1947 in Pageland, SC a son of the late Johnny Wilson and Mary Estelle Arrington Kearns. He was a retired farmer and a disabled U.S. Army Veteran. Mr. Kearns was a member of Providence Baptist Church. Charles was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed drag racing. In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Donald Gene Kearns.

2 Sons: Derrick Kearns and Shane Kearns of Pageland, SC
Grandson: Kade Lee Kearns
Faithful Companion: Margie Eason of the home and her sons and grandsons; Andrew Eason of Pageland, SC, Michael (Amiee) Eason, Cody Eason and James Eason all of Rockingham, NC
3 Brothers: Johnny (Terri) Kearns of Fort Mill, SC, Ronnie (Martha) Kearns, and James "Peashooter" (Deanna) Kearns of Pageland, SC
7 Sisters: Rilla Autry of Marshville, NC, Joanne (Junior) Burgess, Frances (James) King, and Carolyn Melton all of Pageland, SC, Nancy Kearns of Lancaster, SC, Peggy (Steve) Simmons of Middleburg, VA, and Lynn Roller of Tatum, SC
