MEMORIAL SERVICE: 3:00 P.M. Monday, March 21, 2016 at Center Grove Baptist Church, Mt. Croghan, SC

VISITATION: The family will receive friends immediately following the service

HISTORY: Mr. Melton was born December 29, 1950 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late James and Virginia Allen Melton. He was a former employee of Sandpiper Knitting and a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Mr. Melton enjoyed cooking, sitting on the front porch, and spending time with his grandchildren who was his pride and joy. In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his 3 brothers, J.P., Tommy, and Buster Melton; and by his 3 sisters, Barbara Jean Sikes, Vivian Brown, and Margie Melton.

Children: Randy Melton of Chesterfield, SC and Lorie Melton of Columbia, SC
Step Children: Joe (Karen) West, Robbie (Mary) West, and Stacey Deason all of Pageland, SC and Amy (Jorge) Ramos of FL
2 Grandchildren: Brandi (Tyler Carroll) Deason, and Kiara Deason both of Pageland, SC
