FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Maranatha Family Center, Cheraw, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, McFarlan, NC with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.

VISITATION: is 2:00 - 3:00 PM, Saturday prior to the service at the Church

HISTORY: Mr. Skipper was born October 30, 1932 in Chesterfield County, SC a son of the late Walter Leroy and Sally Turnage Skipper. He was a retired employee of CSX Railroad and a former employee of Walmart. Mr. Skipper was a U.S. Army Veteran. Charles was a member of Maranatha Family Center for the past 20 years, and was a member of the Kilwinning Masonic Lodge # 64.He enjoyed camping, going to church, watching auto racing on TV, and talking with his friends. In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by a brother Joel E. Skipper.

Wife of 54 years: Sylvia Braswell Skipper of the home
1 Son: Charles Quentin (Donna) Skipper of Cheraw, SC
1 Daughter: Celeste Dixon of Darlington, SC
3 Grandchildren: Stacy Duren of Hamlet, NC, Charles Preston "C.P." Duren of Effingham, SC, and Rachel Skipper of Cheraw, SC
Also 3 Great Grandchildren:
1 Sister: Minnie Ruth (Bryan) Ratley of McColl, SC
Also Nieces and Nephews
1 Sister-in-law: Louise A Skipper of Chesterfield, SC
