Mr. Charles Bryan Welsh, age 87, entered into rest on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 from the chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Bishop with burial to follow in the Chesterfield Cemetery. The family will greet friends Saturday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Welsh was born August 2, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Ben Heath and Bessie Rayfield Welsh. He was a retired supervisor with J.P. Stevens. Mr. Welsh was a member of Chesterfield Baptist Church, where he served on the building and grounds committee. An avid golfer, Charles was a member of Green River Country Club and enjoyed his time there.

In addition to his parents, Charles was also preceded in death by his wife; Sylvia Douglas Welsh, his daughter-in-law; Kathy Welsh, 3 brothers; Wilbert, Lawson, and Jack Welsh and 4 sisters; Hester Moore, Janelle Graham, Arie Lisenby, and Mildred Sellers.

Survivors include his son, Mike Welsh of Chesterfield;  daughter, Linda (Kenny) Scott of Chesterfield, SC; grandson, Bryan Scott of Pamplico, SC; 2 great grandchildren, Katelyn and Jace Scott of Pamplico, SC;  brother, Benson (Margaret) Welsh of Chesterfield, SC; and sister, Betty (Billy) Redfearn of Cheraw, SC.
