Charlie "Butch" Weinberg, Jr.

Cheraw, SC

          Mr. Charlie “Butch” Weinberg, Jr., age 71, entered into rest on Thursday, December 8, 2022. A Celebration of Life Service will be 5:00 PM Sunday, December 11, 2022 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder by Pastor Jerry Gainey. The family will greet friends from 4:00 – 5:00 PM Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

          Mr. Weinberg was born May 31, 1951 in Darlington, SC a son of the late Charlie Weinberg, Sr. and Mary O’Neal Weinberg. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Vietnam War. Butch was the retired owner and operator of Weinberg Plumbing. He was an avid outdoorsman who always enjoyed working in his yard.

          In addition to his parents, Mr. Weinberg was also preceded in death by his step-father who helped raise him from an early age, Rufus Mozingo.

          Survivors include his wife, Theresa Weinberg of the home; children, Bridget (Curtis) Wilson of Alpharetta, GA, Tracey Strong of Destin, FL, and Bobby (Erica) Weinberg of Tampa, FL; bonus children, Charlie Gene (Christy) Tolson of Patrick, SC, Marion Adam (Crystal) Tolson, and Jennie (Jamie) Joplin of Patrick, SC; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 8 bonus grandchildren; 5 bonus great grandchildren with 2 on the way; sister, Pam Ann (Wayne) Pfingsten of GA; and nieces, Laura Ann Pruitt, and Brandi Ann Dean both of GA.
