Mr. Charlie William "Billy" Mangum, Jr., age 73, husband of Faye Mangum, entered into rest on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Harmony Baptist Church by Rev. Tracy Hinson and Rev. Eddie Watford with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Harmony Baptist Church, 1940 Bethune Road, Bethune, SC and other times at the home of Brenda & Rev. Brian Enlow, 29886 Hwy. 1, Bethune, SC 29009.

Mr. Mangum was born November 27, 1945 in Kershaw, SC a son of the late Charlie William Mangum, Sr. and Kathleen Brannon Mangum. A graduate of Bethune High School, Billy was a retired employee of Sonoco Industries with over 45 years of service. He was a faithful member of Harmony Baptist Church where he currently served as Deacon, Usher, member of the cemetery committee, active on the Barnabas Team, and was a former member of the building and grounds committee. He enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling and Nascar racing, and working crossword puzzles.

In addition to his parents, Billy was also preceded in death by his brothers, James Earl Mangum and Donnie English Mangum; and sister, Kathy Baskins.

Survivors include his wife of over 50 years, Glenda Faye Mangum of the home; 2 children, Donnie (Penny) Mangum of Hartsville, SC, and Brenda (Rev. Brian) Enlow of Bethune, SC; grandchildren, Joshua Enlow of Chesterfield, SC, Ashley Enlow of Bethune, SC, Sierra Mangum, and Cody Mangum both of Hartsville, SC; sister, Betty Small of Bethune, SC; brother, Chris Mangum; numerous nieces and nephews and his beloved and devoted pet, "JULIO."

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Fresenius Kidney Care of Hartsville for the long time care and support given to Mr. Mangum.
