Clara Louise Deason

 Mrs. Clara Louise Deason, age 77, entered into rest on Tuesday, May 21, 2024. A graveside service will be 1:00 PM Friday, May 24, 2024 at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery by Pastor Rodney Nicholson. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mrs. Deason was born October 9, 1946 in Mt. Croghan, SC a daughter of the late James Bart and Clara Elizabeth Wallace Jordan. A lady who loved her family deeply, Clara was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mother-in-law, and friend to all. She was a delicious cook known for her fried chicken and wonderful homemade biscuits.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Deason was also preceded in death by her loving husband, John Frank Deason; and siblings, James Grady Jordan, and Judy Ann Jordan Eason.

Survivors include her children, Donald Wayne Deason of Pageland, SC, and Melissa (Daniel) Alexson of Mt. Croghan, SC; grandchildren, Alissa (Cory) Brummet of Jefferson, SC, and Katie (Chris) Griffin of Mt. Croghan, SC; great grandchildren, Makenzie, Easton, Weston, and Abigail; numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved pet, “Daisy.”
