Mr. Colon Blease “Billy” Williams Jr., age 71, entered into rest on Saturday, January 2, 2021. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from the chapel of Miller-Rives-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Bobby Morton. Interment will follow with Military honors in the Grace and Mercy Worship Center Cemetery (formerly Bethesda United Methodist Church). The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home and other times at the home of Ricky & Terri Atkinson, 101 Hunts Mill Road, Patrick, SC.

Due to the continued COVID-19 risk, the family respectfully requests everyone attending funeral services wear a face covering and practice social distancing as much as possible.

Mr. Williams, affectionately known as “Bream”, was born June, 23 1949 in Patrick, SC a son of the late Colon Blease Williams Sr. and Mary Ella Boan Williams. He was a U.S. Army veteran and mechanic by trade. Billy could often be found working on cars or watching wrestling. A member of Southern Grace Church, Billy enjoyed cutting grass or whatever needed done around the church. He was always one to keep people laughing and smiling.

In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a brother, Vernon Williams and sister, Kaye Armstong.

Survivors include his daughters; Shelia (Christopher Alva) Joplin of Patrick, SC and Amber (Shawn) Landon of Sacramento, CA; grandchildren, Joasie Joplin of Patrick, SC, Emily Landon of Sacramento, CA; great-granddaughter, Kaydence Joplin; sisters, Peggy Kirby of Timmonsville, SC, Barbara (Billy) Polson of Cheraw, SC, Linda Williams of Patrick, SC, Faye Crowley of Florence, SC, Connie (Bobby) Morton of Chesterfield, SC; brother, Clyde Jordan Jr. and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved like his own grandchildren; and his fur baby, Zippy.

Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
