Craig Schauer

Mr. Craig Adam Schauer, age 58, entered into rest on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday, October 22, 2018 at Chatham Hill Memorial Gardens by Rev. Charles Teal. The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.

Mr. Schauer was born December 21, 1959 a son of Jean Lyon Schauer and the late Harry Fredrick Schauer. Craig will always be remembered for his contagious smile that would light up the entire room. He enjoyed music and vibrant colors. He was affectionately known by his friends as “Tweety Bird”.

In addition to his father, Craig was also preceded in death by a sister-in-law, Delores Schauer; and brother, Daniel Thomas Schauer.

Survivors include his loving mother, Jean L. Schauer of Wallace, SC; brothers, Mark (Faye) Schauer, and Kirk Schauer both of Wallace, SC, Gary (Karen) Schauer of Chesterfield, SC; sister-in-law, Robin M. Schauer of Chesterfield, SC;  nephews, Thomas (Lucy) Schauer, and Kirk (Heather) Schauer, II; nieces, Dawn (John) Simmons, Caryn Schauer, and Jennifer (Tad) Polson; also his extended family at the Saleeby Center in Hartsville, SC.
