Mr. Darrell L. Watts, age 67, entered into rest on Friday, February 1, 2019 at his home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 4, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church by Pastor Don Rhyne and Rev. Jeremiah Henderson with burial to follow in the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 PM Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 5732 Peach Orchard Road, Pageland, SC.

Mr. Watts was born June 23, 1951 in Monroe, NC a son of the late Marion L. and Dorothy Mullis Watts. He was a graduate of Pageland High School, Class of 1969, and a retired employee of Conbraco Industries. Darrell was a talented musician who taught himself to play the banjo, guitar, dobro, and mandolin. He enjoyed attending Bethlehem Baptist Church and blessing others with his musical talents and especially enjoyed bluegrass music. Mr. Watts was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was also preceded in death by his brother, Scott Watts; and brother-in-law, Ronnie Autry.

Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Barbara Kaye Watts of the home; children, Angie Watts of the home, and Carmen (Tim) Pope of Pageland, SC; grandchildren, Madison Pope, and Kaylee Pope; siblings, Carolyn Autry of Jefferson, SC, and Debbie (Randy) Pressley of Indian Trail, NC; also, nieces and nephews.
