DECEASED: Mr. David Curtis "Dickey" Johnson, age 71, died Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at his home.

SERVICE OF CELEBRATION: 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel, Chesterfield, SC

INTERMENT: will follow in the Patrick Cemetery

VISITATION: 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. Friday, February 13, 2015 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Johnson was born August 5, 1943 in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late Fletcher and Bertha Therrell Johnson. He was a retired employee of Highland Industries and a former member of the SC Army National Guard. Dickey loved his dogs, and enjoyed fishing and raising
chickens. In addition to his parents, Dickey was also preceded in death by 2 sons, David Curtis Johnson, Jr. and Ronald Wayne Johnson; 2 brothers, W.M. and Junior Johnson; and 5 sisters, Margaret Rivers, Helen Lewis, Beatrice Bill, Ruby Melton and Frances Nolan.

1 Son: Dewitt Johnson of Patrick, SC
2 Daughters: Crystal Johnson of Patrick, SC and Teresa Moore of Chesterfield, SC
5 Grandchildren: David Dewitt Johnson, Jr., Taylor Johnson, Kaitlyn Johnson, and Dalton and Kelsey Moore
1 Sister: Lydia (Jeter) Tolson of Chesterfield, SC
