Mrs. Delores Jenkins Jordan, age 83, entered into rest on Thursday, July 1, 2021. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday, July 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home by Pastor Max White and Brent Taylor with burial to follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 1:00PM – 2:00PM Monday prior to the service at the funeral home.

Anyone may stop by the funeral home on Sunday, July 4, 2021 between the hours of 1:00 – 4:00 PM to pay their respects.

Mrs. Jordan was born April 24, 1938 in Jefferson, SC a daughter of the late Julian Kenneth and Mary Knight Jenkins. She was a graduate of Jefferson High School and a retired office manager with Cigna Insurance with over 30 years of service. Delores was a faithful member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling with her husband. Although she and her husband had no children, they were very close to their nieces and nephews whom they loved as children.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Jordan was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Newsome Jordan; and brother, Willaford A. “Billy” Jenkins.

Survivors include her sister, Selma Jenkins Johnson and husband, Mendel of Jefferson, SC; sister-in-law, Linda Ann Jenkins of Raleigh, NC; and beloved nieces and nephews.
