Dennis Faye Davis

Chesterfield, SC

           Mr. Dennis Faye Davis, age 83, entered into rest on Saturday, December 24, 2022. The family will host a memorial service for family and friends at 2 P.M. on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Maranatha Family Worship Center in Cheraw, SC by Rev. Allen Usher.

Mr. Davis was born August 15, 1939 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late William Hudson Davis and Kathleen Griggs Turner. He was a member of Maranatha Family Worship Center and retired mechanic at the school bus shop. Dennis was an avid nascar fan, enjoyed watching westerns, and gardening. He was a gun enthusiast and a board member of the Alpha Center.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his wife; Emily Ruth Gaskins Davis and daughter, Barbie Denise Davis and step-father, Paul Turner.

Survivors include his children; Jerry (Janet) Davis of Mt. Pleasant, NC, Wesley (Charity) Davis of Cheraw, SC,  William Dennis Davis of Chesterfield; grandchildren; Lucas Davis of Chesterfield, Addison Davis of Cheraw, Catey Ruth Davis of Cheraw, Cara Joy Davis of Cheraw, Nathan Usher Davis of Cheraw, Mellissa (Chris) Allen of North Carolina, Lauren Davis of North Carolina, Jerrod Paul (Lisa) Davis of Chesterfield, Holly (Niko) Fuzz of Myrtle Beach, Ethan Gainey of Chesterfield; great grandchildren, Emma Davis, Courtney Thompson, and Rayne Davis; 2 great-great grandchild; sisters, Janet Merriman Gaddy of Concord, NC, Mary Gibson of Laurinburg, NC, Jean (Julian) Catoe of Chesterfield; in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
