Mrs. Diane S. Perdue, age 62, died Wednesday, September 14, 2016. A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Perdue was born March 26, 1954 in Chesterfield, SC a daughter of Sarah Freeman Sims and the late Glenn Sims. She was a homemaker and loved animals. Mrs. Perdue enjoyed collecting antiques and going to yard sales.

In addition to her father, Diane was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy R. Perdue.

Survivors include her children, Jamie Sims of Sumter, SC and Megan Perdue and companion, Dessa Rodgers of Tuscaloosa, AL; mother, Sarah Freeman Sims of Camden, SC; fiancé, Mark Turnage of Patrick, SC; sister, Kay Sims Floyd and husband Don of Sumter, SC; 2 nieces, Shannon Stroud and Torrie Brigman both of Patrick, SC
