HISTORY: Mr. Lear was born November 18, 1930 in Chesterfield, SC a son of the late William Alex "Willie" and Clara Elizabeth Hancock Lear. He was a retired employee of Lear's IGA. Don was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War, and a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching movies, riding around, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his wife, Maggie Moore Lear, and by 2 brothers, and 11 sisters.

1 Daughter: Carol Lear (Bill) Gregory of Chesterfield, SC
4 Grandchildren: Travis and Hannah Gulledge, Will (Amanda) Lear, and Kyle Lear
3 Great Grandchildren: Lily Gulledge, Cade Lear, and Grady Spencer
1 Brother: Ray (Sara) Lear of Chesterfield, SC
Sister-in-law: Lyvonne Lear of Chesterfield, SC
