Mr. Don M. Steen, age 65, entered into rest on March 21, 2018. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 24, 2018 from the Chapel of Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor Thomas Thacker with burial to follow in the Rocky Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM Friday, March 23, 2018 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home.

Mr. Steen was born August 1, 1952 in Mt. Croghan, SC a son of the late Grover and Bessie Wallace Steen. He was a former heavy equipment operator and a mechanic specializing in motor graders and bull dozers. A life-long farmer, Don also worked with Jenkins farms. His hobbies included fishing, raising game fowl, and working on antique tractors. Don also enjoyed dirt track racing, watching westerns, and his favorite pastime was time spent with family, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Don was also preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Steen; brothers, Danny Ray Steen and Mickey Lee “Mick” Steen.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Bonnie Steen of the home; children, Barbara (Kevin Thompson) Smith of Lancaster, SC, Tammy Kelly, Mitchell (Carley) Steen both of Mt. Croghan, SC, Wendy (Carlos Ponce) Steen of Ruby, SC, and Matthew (Bevin) Steen of Mt. Crohgan, SC; grandchildren, Nicki, Brooke, Jessica, Mariah, Tony, Mitchell, Brandon, Emily, Morgan, Nicolas, Elizabeth, Jr., Paulina, Christian, Noah, Dakota, Clayton, and Delilah; 10 great grandchildren; siblings, Basil Steen of Mt. Croghan, SC, Joan Baker of Pageland, SC, Betty (Roy) Laney of Kershaw, SC, Wanda (Doc) Donahue of Mt. Croghan, SC, Gloria (Robbie Adams) Dennis of Chesterfield, SC, and Randy Steen of Mt. Croghan, SC; also numerous nieces and nephews.
