Donna Ruth Brown

Ms. Donna Ruth Brown, age 68, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 2, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ms. Brown was born April 1, 1952 in Lubbock, TX a daughter of Mildred Cassidy and the late Sam Shami. Donna enjoyed fellowship and bible study with her Jehovah’s Witness family. She would do anything she could to uplift and encourage others in the community. Ms. Brown loved going out for walks, bird watching, and taking in the beauty of nature. Most of all, Donna cherished the time she spent with her family.

In addition to her Father, Donna is preceded in death by her sister Leila Cobb; and her step-father, B.C. Cassidy.

Survivors include her mother, Mildred Cassidy of Chesterfield, SC; granddaughter, Jasmine Hall of Cheraw, SC; sisters, Kathy Shami of Chesterfield, SC, and Selma Taylor of Ozark, Missouri; and her niece, Madison Shami of Atlanta, GA.
