FUNERAL SERVICE: 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Miller-Rivers-Caulder Funeral Home Chapel

INTERMENT: will follow in the Oakland Baptist Church Cemetery

VISITATION: 2:00 - 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 15, 2014 prior to the service at the Funeral Home.

HISTORY: Mr. Burr was born October 5, 1946, in Chesterfield, SC, a son of the late George Washington Burr and Rillie Johnson Burr Gulledge. He was a retired electrician with Rivers Plumbing and Electric Co. Donnie enjoyed raising chickens, fishing, and spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Donnie was also preceded in death by his son, Robbie Fay Burr, and by 4 brothers, Rev. Avery, Kenneth, and L. J. Burr, and Pete Atkinson.

7 Grandchildren: Clint (Erica) Gulledge, Randall (Michelle) Hancock, Stephanie and Megan Sellers, Skylar Burr, and Heath and Garrett Gulledge
4 Great Grandchildren: Levi and Chloe Gulledge, Maranda Hancock, and Alexis Anderson
1 Brother: Grady Burr of Concord, NC
2 Sisters: Helen Melton of Cheraw, SC and Brenda Modlin of Myrtle Beach, SC
Close Friend: Carl Barefoot of Clinton, NC
